Plique-à-jour means "letting in daylight" in French. This enameling style lets light through, like stained-glass. It's a rare technique in today's world! This dragonfly reproduction brooch/pendant was made by a multi-generational family firm in Barcelona in the 1980's from a mold from the 1800’s.
